Kerux welcome guests of the HGOA, behold our Rex Sacrorum,who has been installed and enthroned, he is the revealer of the mysteries among us for the ensuing six months. very honored king, will you, in the presence of the children of your temple and their guests, make your statement?

R.S. I invite you to smell the perfume of this rose as a symbol of air.(smells rose) to feel the warmth of this sacred fire as a symbol of elemental fire. (holds hand over candle) and to eat this bread and salt as types of earth. (eats it) and finnaly to drink this wine as a symbol of elemental water. (drinks)
(Kerux goes to hierus, then hegemon, then F.G., then W.G., and finnaly to the guests. after everyone else has partaken the kerux partakes. after drinking contents of the glass s\he overturns it on altar.)
